If you are affected by the AMD CPU issue, work is under way on a version 106.0.1 update. I don't know how quickly that can go through the build process and become available. Currently there is a test build linked in the following Reddit thread, and users are having good results with it so far. It's possible a further announcement will be made there:

Hi

Thank you for the crash report. Is this a copy of Firefox that you are updating from the Microsoft store?

The "Bugzilla" tab of your crash report links to a fresh bug report about how this could be an incompatibility with some AMD CPUs (1796126 - Crashes on AMD Zen (family 23 model 1 stepping 1)). We should keep on eye on the analysis as it develops.

I don't think we can suggest a short-term mitigation for a CPU problem, unlike a graphics card/GPU problem which would have been helped by Troubleshoot Mode.

If you can use another browser for Twitch for the next 12-24 hours, I suspect we will know a lot more by then. If too many sites are affected, and you use Firefox Sync, here's another possibility: you could install the Extended Support Release of Firefox 102* into a separate program folder on your system and populate your key data into it using Firefox Sync (both need to be installed at the same time to ensure proper data transfer). But avoiding icon confusion is a bit annoying, so I understand that may be more hassle than it's worth.

No. It's the 'normal' downloaded exe file from the mozilla website.

OK. Thank' you for the quick response. I will wait then. This occurred after the recent update as far as I can tell. I had no issues before that.

Does rebooting your machine fix the problem?

That's it. No crashes on this experimental build. As far as I can tell, the current build doesn't seem to crash anymore either. Perhaps a sneaky fix behind the scenes did the trick? In any case, thank you very much.
