how to delete an adress from the address bar suggestions?

I am unable to delete a website link from my suggestions, as soon as I enter "s" into the seachbar it suggests a website that I want to delete.

Tried this solution, didn't work: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-recent-searches-search-bar

I didn't delete the login data and cookies though.

Start typing. Once a list is displayed, use the arrow keys to highlight that entry. Then press <Delete>.

Ok the problem was fixed after a minute or so (after deleting all the stuff I deleted, mentioned above :D )
