How can i retrieve my password
Hi I am currently using Firefox on my laptop. Last month my system crash.I was still able to use my system but it was on save mode. I took system to my engineer and he said he is going to work on it. I did not know that he is going to format my system I will have told him not to because virtually all the password to my acct is being saved on my Mozilla Firefox browser. He has formated my system although he reinstall another Mozilla browser on my system. Please what can I do to get back all my saved password. Please it urgent.

Unless you have a copy of your data someplace . . . . . . .
Some format programs save old data. Ask that tech if his does.
If you can't remember a password, open the log-in page, and select Can't Remember Password
One last thing. In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

You would require a copy of the logins.json and key3.db files to recover the passwords that were stored in the Firefox profile folder.
If you do not have any copy then the passwords are lost.
