My tabs keep disappearing in Firefox for iOS (iPad). If I close Firefox and reopen they reappear. I can’t scroll up or down to get them back. Any ideas on what setting has gone wrong or what I am missing

Further futzing about - I can get the tabs back if I click on split screen view and back again. Maybe an incompatibility between split screen and Firefox?
