All of a sudden, Firefox for Android has been using about 1GB of data daily. My Data Usage monitor says it is almost all Foreground data.

I barely use Firefox for watching videos or streaming anything, especially when not on WiFi.

I run two extensions — Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin, both of which I would assume should be saving me data by blocking ads and trackers.

Data collection settings are set to Off. Autoplay is blocked for audio and video. Stories (sponsored or not) and sponsored Shortcuts are disabled. Tabs open for 2+ weeks are automatically moved to Inactive.

When sliding from the primary Mac screen to another on the same computer the Firefox image (and ONLY that image) is duplicated on each additional screen image loaded making the use of multiple screens virtually useless.

bold text I have just installed Mozilla VPN but it doesn't seem to be running in the background properly. How can I verify that it is running? And how can I restart it if it isn't running? I have a Mac.

We need to disable the VPN functionality in Firefox for macOS in our environment using a configuration profile deployed via our Jamf Pro VPN. I have done internet searches and found suggestions to use either a custom upload or external application configuration profile payload to disable the VPN functionality but have not been able to find a configuration that works.

Previously, when I run a full scan, a box will appear at the bottom of the screen stating that full scan is running and when it's finished, this appears full scan is finished and stayed on until I check Norton. Hello there we are several persons here, all connected to the internet via the same box (proxy). I would like tu to use your VPN. The other persons are not interested (no comment !). there's damn near always problems, pages display funny, dont load, the browser has its own " loading circle" temp files/cache is still a problem? do you guys know its 2025 and browsers still cant handle temp files? mozilla has ZERO help. no wonder everyone uses chrome. but they suck a$$ too.

I have been using a couple of well known computer browsers that drive me mad the way I have to confirm who I am even after long use with them .

Their system of security is over the top.

I feel much more encouraged that when I use Firefox that I have chose a professional team
