Hello. 😊 I have a question about my copy of Firefox for Windows v152.0.6 x64. (For the record, I have nasty feeling that I'm using the wrong forum; but the address bar says I'm in the right one.)

In my main profile, the one that I have been using for years, the "Home and Startup" part of my settings page shows the following:

- Firefox Home

 - Search
 - **Weather**
 - Shortcut
 - Support Firefox
 - Recent Activity
   - Visited pages
   - Bookmarks
   - Most recent download
   - [Choose a wallpaper]
 - Firefox logo

Today, I went to about:profiles and created a new profile. This new profile offers different settings:

- Firefox Home

 - Search
 - **Widgets**
   - **Lists**
   - **Timer**
   - **Sports**
   - **Clock**
   - **Weather**
 - Shortcuts
 - Support Firefox
 - Recent Activity
   - Visited pages
   - Bookmarks
   - Most recent download
   - [Choose a wallpaper]
 - Firefox logo

That's strange, isn't it? Why the difference? And how can get all the goodies of the new profile under my old profile?

When I move down the screen the tab bar (where it shows what tabs are open at the top of the screen) disappears and it reappears when I move back up to where it should be. I must have switched it on accidentally and can't turn it off. One thing I read said to go to More tools > Customise toolbar > Return to default (this might have been for a different problem but I tried it anyway). When I did that it seemed to work temporarily but then the tab bar disappeared again.

It no longer displays the top-level options, such as "Open in a new tab." It just has a black background without White lettering, though it can still be selected.

Who else is still experiencing the problem?

The main issue is search bar readability. This problem is not present in the Nightly version. The background is the same colour as the text. Another issue is that on regular Firefox, all my pinned apps and squashed towards the bottom of the screen. Again, this problem is not present on Nightly. Finally, a problem that is present in both Firefox and Nightly, the "close tab" button in vertical tabs mode is cut off by the sides of the floating tab bar.

I used to have many more icons on my toolbar. Since having to upgrade to Windows 11, the individual toolbar icons are huge! I can only get 6 on my toolbar, whereas on Windows 10 I have at least 11. Having to scroll down the bookmark list is time consuming and frustrating.

Suggestions?

I have already turned off the 3 or 4 different types of firefox suggestions in the settings. Did they add yet another one? I can't find anything about it in the settings. How can I be sure I never get a pop-up suggesting any sort of wallpaper again?

Hello I seem to have lost the ability to choose whether my bookmarks toolbar displays icons and text or icons only. At present I have icons plus 4 letters of text fading out. I want to return to icons only. How do I do this? Regards

I just installed the latest version of Firefox. Now the reload button has gone from the toolbar.

When I click on customize toolbar it is not there either so I can't add it back.

Can someone please tell me how to get his back?

I've tried resetting and that didn't make a difference.

Top browser menu bars seam rather large and take up allot of space how do I reduce their size. Also and this is a Huge issue! The VPN network sign-in keeps popping up but I don't want to use the VPN. I already have another automatically running and it causes huge slowdown. Please help! Thanks!

Some Chinese characters are displayed incorrectly in my iOS Firefox app, with completely different strokes then they should have. It's not traditional Chinese or any other actually existing character, it's just straight up wrong.

As an example, below I am typing 冷 (cold) and it displays correctly in my keyboard (and everywhere else on my iPhone) but when I actually select it, the character looks completely different. If I search, it's still recognized as the correct character, but it's just displayed wrong, making it very difficult to read as these aren't characters that actually exist. This is just one example, with multiple other characters having similar issues.

Has Firefox's interface gotten smaller? The tabs and search bar are much more difficult for me to read now, and the symbols are extra tiny. I cannot figure out how to enlarge them, since zooming in only affects individual web pages. I tried looking in Settings, specifically the Accessibility section, but I cannot find a way to enlarge this part of the web browser. Help!

I have just moved from an old laptop to a newer one - a Lenovo Thinkpad. I have installed Linux Mint and successfully transferred my files and Thunderbird. I also synchronized Firefox and all my add-ons, bookmarks and history came across perfectly. While setting up the toolbar from the customise screen I dragged the home page button onto the toolbar and it just disappeared. The home page is set up in settings. It appears the first time I open a window. I would like to be able to go back to my home page at will, how can I re-instate the home page button?
