I'm come here today for report a bug with default PDF viewer on Firefox. I have a normal PDF document. I fill this document with PDFTK and my two cases is always checked but just one can normaly. (radio input)

I really dislike the mute icon showing on a tab when it's muted. Is there a way to keep a tab muted but not show this icon? This is actually the default functionality on Chrome and I believe this is much better design.

This is because the muted tabs are usually my pinned tabs, and these tabs are small when pinned. So when I go to click them I more often than not inadvertently click the mute icon and end up unmuting it, when I actually want to select the tab. Things like Rocketchat, Emails, things I use the most but also are usually work related and would be very annoying if I had unmuted.

If there's no way I really hope this can be a option, whether to show or hide the mute icon.

PS: Btw it's important to show which tabs are making sound, but I don't think I've ever thought to myself I really wish I had sound from "x" tab, but I wonder which one is muted. If I wanted sound from a tab, I'm on it, and if I don't hear sound I check if the tab is muted, simple.

After restarting Firefox, my saved logins were missing. I tried moving my logins.json file and key4.db file to my new profile folder, many times, but it does not update my saved passwords on Firefox. I have no other way of accessing my Protonmail account, but I do have the logins.json file with the encrypted password - I just don't have a way to decrypt it. Any help would be much appreciated! I've followed the instructions on the article to import data from an old profile and nothing has worked, all of my old profiles are gone now (I tried using the terminal to restart Firefox with the old profiles but it still didn't work) but I have the original logins.json and key4.db files on my computer.

I am running the current version of Firefox 86.0.1 and MacOS Big Sur 11.23. More often than not when trying to open a webpage I get the spinning colorwheel and the page does not load, after about 5 minutes the spinning colorwheel goes away and Firefox is dead. I must kill it and restart. This also happened frequently before the latest MacOS update.

Each time Firefox has crashed, I've submitted the report. How can I prevent this?

This happened every time 2 weeks or so ago. I cleared the cache and it seemed to work temporarily. I've run Firefox for a number of years now and only within the last month has it given me problems with Plex.

Firefox 86 for Windows gets a beautiful new Print dialog, with great Print Preview and other functionality. The Mac? Nope!

And there is no technical reason for this! Chrome/Vivaldi/Brave all have a similar dialog box that makes it easy not to waste paper when a website insists on printing a second page for a single word.

Come on, Mozilla! A little feature parity would be nice – especially for such basic functionality!

While using the Firefox Browser, annoying messages about dating, security and the like keep popping on to the screen. I have installed blocking extension. I have disabled "snippets" as was advised. If this continues, I will be forced to use Chrome or Safari.

So my account is synced and everything, but if I quit my Mozilla browser on my Mac everything gets deleted. Passwords, bookmarks, everything. It's so frustrating that I may go back to Safari because this is ridiculous.

Previous forum posts suggested using these URLs to access password management: chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xul and chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xhtml but neither work on FF88.0b2 64bit on macOS 10.14.6

Hi! Even if i'm an old user of Firefox, i'm new to this support/forum thing, so I apologise if i'm in the wrong place. Today, after watching some videos on a specific youtube channel, i noticed that the channel appeard on the "highlights" section in the home page of Firefox. Nothing strange in that, but i noticed that the thumbnail of the user of that youtube channel was in high definition in the "highlights", even if when I viewed the page information of YouTube, on the media tab, I wasn't able to find an image with such an hight resolution. I would be clear: I'm not talking about the YouTube red logo, but on the user's channel image (rounded, near the name). The "moz-page-thumb://thumbnails/?url........" have a resolution of 448px x 448px. The image on youtube have the maximum resolution of 176px x 176px. So... Where have Firefox finded that image?? Is there involved some kind of upscaling?? I really appreciate the hard work of Mozilla, and I hope that will go on on this way.

After logging in with my firefox account on another firefox browser all my bookmarks haven't sync. is there something that needs to be done in order to pull the bookmarks from my account? i don't have any access to the old computer anymore

I'm using Firefox 86.0 on an Apple Silicon Mac mini (16 GB/2TB) with macOS 11.2. Several times a day when I return to the browser, it will have become completely unresponsive to clicks and or typing. In this state, I can't click on web pages, or controls in the tab bar. However, the app is not beach-balling. I can quit by right clicking on the dock icon and choosing quit from the menu (I don't have to force quit). Relaunching fixes things. Also, if I have, for example, clicked on the "new tab" button in the tab bar, once I've quit and launched again, the new tab will be in the window, indicating that the command was processed, but the result was not visible. Sometimes, but not always, when in this state the page display looks like it has been scaled to about 50%. (As if I'd hit "Zoom out" five times). One clue that may relate to this is, I'm running in scaled mode on the monitor (The monitor is capable of 3840x2160, but I'm scaling things in the Display control panel to 2560x1440.) Apps are running in Retina mode. I have tried running Firefox in Safe mode, but that didn't help. I have a lot of tabs that I don't want to lose, so running in a fresh user profile is kind of difficult, unless there's a simple way to transfer open tabs between profiles.

Firefox update (about 4 weeks ago?) resulted in losing access to various accounts eg: bank, health care provider. Forced to use Chrome (blech!) Websites now state that I'm using an "unsupported browser". Have contacted host sites and they are unresponsive and/or unable to provide solution. Can still access bank etc from Android phone but forced to use other browsers from MacBook Pro.

I refreshed Firefox because I found it was running slow, and now my saved logins and passwords are not in my settings anymore.

They are still on my phone but they won't sync now to my iMac desktop.

Is there a way to restore them or resync!

The bookmarks toolbar isn't showing any bookmarks. I searched for help documents and did everything I was instructed to do but the icons are still not showing. If I attempt to right click the toolbar, it doesn't recognize and doesn't give me a pop up menu to choose from. I'm baffled.

My WordPress site is having problems with Firefox. When I updated WP to 5.7 version, the page of my website starts to stop loading, they become white pages. The website works perfectly in Chrome and Safari.

Any ideas?
