My bookmarks toolbar disappeared. I was able to restore it, but it's blank. Using an add-in, I can show my bookmarks in a side pane. That pane does show a Bookmarks Toolbar folder, which has the expected contents.

Additional issue: how do I rearrange my toolbars. The desired order, from top to bottom is title menu navigation tabs bookmarks

I am so frustrated...for years, my Firefox Browser has worked flawlessly. I love all the feature and hate to switch to the dark side.

The two primary frustrations are as follows:

1. I have placed my settings to "Auto Populate" my email address line and password fields. The password auto populates w/o problem but the email field will not. I have reloaded the Firefox and checked and double checked the settings and since one half works and the 2nd does not, I feel the error is not mine.

I'd would love any suggestions

2. When entering text on the "Subject Line" for an email, let's suppose I enter: "Good" , hit the space bar to add "Morning"...the cursor moves back to the beginning of the line and inserts "Morning" in front of "Good". Then I am forced to add spaces and redo the Subject I had intended.

This is clearly nothing to do with me...it's just broken.

I have this problem across all my devices, excluding the iPhone as it's not Firefox, it's an Apple App. The Chrome, and Safari browsers do not have either of these issues.

I am a dedicated Apple user so all my laptops and desktops are Apple.

hi, i have a dozen extensions that i wouldn't mind keeping in case i want to use them sometime, though i know you're supposed to keep extensions to a minimum to avoid complications and slowness. Does disabling add-ons avoid the problems just like deleting them altogether would? thanks!

I simultaneously open two links of a bookmark folder by using the mouse scroller click. This is a most useful action, but once the pages are opened, they have to be re-selected to be pinned. Is it possible to open them in pinned mode?

Hi, I have a desktop with windows 10 64 bit. I have been using an add on called 'Flash Video Downloader' I have it on my laptop and LOVE it. Same version of Windows and Firefox on both devices. I can not find Flash Video Downloader on my desktop Firefox. I cannot find where to download or get it. Can you help me with this issue? Thank You PBob

What is the way to turn off the daily firefox update popup nag on MacOS? I've noticed Mozilla is heavy handed at shoving updates down your throat that break things but always come up short on communicating what changes were made. The last update broke printing and now it takes 2 minutes for timeout to occur every time I want to print a page. So I know there is a large community of users who want to turn off update nags, suppose every one of those users submitted a new complaint on a daily basis to nag Mozilla to turn the f*cking update nag off. What will it take?

When I used the Firefox browser YouTube videos would first show the thumbnail in a large screen size and then you have to click play is this a setting or feature? Would just be nice to see the thumbnail bigger sometimes

On Firefox 90 on Ubuntu 20.04, when a site asks for camera and microphone permissions, it’s not possible to select any device anymore. It just shows the default camera and the default microphone.

Earlier Firefox releases used to show a selection list for the camera and also another one for the microphone.

My default camera is the one built into the laptop and I would like to use an external one that has adequate picture quality.

Can you please help selecting a camera with the new Firefox?

Hello. Firefox not allows me to add search engine to search bar only for some sites. For example: I can add search on YouTube, and it's show me green "+" on search bar. But I need to add this site: allegro.pl and the "+" button is unavailable. I remember I added it to search few versions ago (probably it was FF 78 ESR), but I don't remember how I do it. And I accidentally delete it from search engines. Could anyone help me with add it again? Regards.

MS installed the latest firefox version and it has made all my backgrounds black and text white!!! I hate it!!! I can't read much on many sites.

Please help me get rid of this latest install.

Please inform me how to disable the automatic updates and or notifications. This intrusive feature is not in alignment with you original mission statement. Why force an update every two or three weeks?

I can look at the add-on manager [Control-Shift-A] and SEE all of my add-ons, BUT the list of addon-okons is gone, and NONE of the web pages I go to show any of the add-on "buttons" [such as "Download"]

HOW do I get these back?

After the last update to version 95.0 all websites such as github.com changed to dark mode. I am using the dark theme but I still don't want to use dark mode on websites. Is there any way to use the dark theme without using dark mode.

Hello! I am using the userChrome.css file to hide the nav bar (# nav-bar) and show it when hovering the tabs.

The following code works a bit, but when I open the developer tools they overlap.

Telling me how to restore it and how to make avoid it happens again. The enclosed picture shows the effect. The blank space is as if it was transparent, as I can click on objects behind them (although I cannot see them, as the blank space is not transparent). It is really a nuance. Are there any shortcuts from keyboard to restore it? Most solutions I read do not work as they say things like "click that button in the menu, or toolbar, or so" but they are simply not there!!!! Howdy all, I've been trying to switch my page for a new tab to bing for a while now and havent had any sucess. New windows and the home button go to bing but new tabs do not load bing. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance

So out of nowhere firefox changed my blank tab background to dark and google website background to dark. I tried messing around with the themes and now stupid color theme keeps automatically switching to default. It used to be so easy to remove the themes and to change the default theme. Not there is no button for it. So f.... frustrating to look at this. I want to uninstall the themes and i can't the 3 dots have only manage button and nothing there to remove the theme or to set as default.

So how do i set my default theme and get rid of the rest of the theme garbage? Thank you

I was wondering if it's possible to add links to websites in the overflow Toolbar?

by default, I have my bookmarks bar hidden and to only show in new tabs as I don't want them clogging the view during normal browsing, so quick access to websites that I need access to isn't really an option.

So I was wondering, is it possible to add a select few frequently accessed websites to my overflow toolbar? I mainly use some websites that does what Windows first-party apps doesn't do well themselves, such as Photopea.

I'm trying to understand what causes it to expand even when its child `toolbar#nav-var` is set to be positioned absolutely. It no longer should contribute to the parent height or layout yet it still does. My frist thought was it is JS script that calculate the height and sets it however, there are no direct in-line height changes at all.

Here is the test css:

toolbox#navigator-toolbox > toolbar#nav-bar { position: absolute!important; height: 0!important; min-height: 0!important; }

toolbox#navigator-toolbox > toolbar#nav-bar:focus-within, toolbox#navigator-toolbox > toolbar#nav-bar:hover, toolbox#navigator-toolbox > toolbar#nav-bar:focus { position: absolute!important; height: inherit!important; min-height: inherit!important; }

Using CTRL+L shotrcut combination you can force the nav-bar inputbox to be `focused` which sets custom style that reveals it. Since it is positioned absolutely it should not contribute to layout yet when it appears, the render viewport shifts and `toolbox#navigator-toolbox` height automatically increases.
