On my old (Intel based) MacPro Zoho email works fine. On my new M1 chip MacPro when I first open Zoho, or open an email, the page does not render properly at first (buttons/links don't work etc). After a delay it refreshes and shows properly. The delay depends on how fast my internet is - in the evening it can be a minute or so. Even when the internet is good I still get 2 versions of a page with a pause in between.

I tried on Safari and it works fine - which makes me think this is a Firefox issue.

I have some screen shots but when I click the browse button below I can select a file then it just endlessly shows working. I will have to email these to you separately

For whatever reason, I can't find a simple way to file a bug report. Starting 120.0, or maybe in 120.0.1, I've started seeing a cursor appearing next to buttons and other components on web pages that you definitely would not expect to see cursors next to.

It seems that a cursor has started to display when I click on web components even if it's not a text entry field. I've included a screen shot that includes a cursor appearing next to the Refresh button in Gmail, for example.

There's even a cursor appear in the "Browse" button on this very page in the Add Images section.

Because of my work I have to use a specific car rental company but recently I am unable to log in to my account on their website via Firefox. Safari, which I prefer not to use, is no problem but if I try to log in using Firefox it gets stalled on the spinning wheel. I have an ad blocked but I had already turned it off for accessing that particular site, I think I just got a browser update, it just doesn't want to log in. Anyone have any ideas? I'm on a Macbook, OS 12.4. Firefox says it's up to date, version 102.0.1

I'm wondering if it's possible to send tab from macOS Firefox to another device... I couldn't find any clue to achieve that, since that right click doesn't have the option to send tab throughout the devices like on windows.

Well, I wanted to provide PRIVATE feedback to the developers, but it appears that they are intent on avoiding that at all costs, continually steering me into posting on the public forum instead by not providing any other alternative. So be it. Remember, this was not my choice.

I was shocked to see the following results from Firefox's own presearch for the simple term "mom" (I was typing a longer word, but the presearch came out during my typing). I think your curation algorithms need some hard tweaking.

Since approximately July 2023, Firefox gives me a beachball and pauses for about 10 seconds whenever I change between it and another app, or between one Firefox window and another. The same behavior does not occur with other browsers, likewise whether my connection is WiFi or wired.

I have No Proxy set in Network Settings. I am running a 2021 M1 Max Macbook Pro on Ventura 13.5.2.

I would appreciate any advice on how to troubleshoot and fix. Thanks.

I would like to stop the default behavior of firefox displaying in the tab that contains my GMail how many unread GMail messages there are -- in other words to delete "(9)" from the attached photo and never have the count displayed -- if it could instead simply say "Inbox - xxx@gmail.com"

Until a few days ago, the site dailykos.com worked relatively normally. (By normally, I mean that the body of each article, including links and some of the embedded videos/photos were there and could be read. The comments and some of the pictures have never loaded. I thought it might be due to my privacy settings or extensions, but those weren't that important to me, and I never tried to fix that.) Now the site's pages are blank except for the title (see screenshot). The site loads normally in Safari on my iMac, and in the latest version of Firefox on my wife's MacBook Pro. I've compared the settings between her copy of Firefox and mine, and I can't see any significant differences. (We are both still using MacOS Catalina, but plan to upgrade to Monterey very soon.)

Things I've tried that didn't work include restarting both Firefox and my Mac, clearing my cache (it was zero bytes, but I clicked "Clear" anyway), deleting all cookies, including any for Daily Kos, except for a few cookies I need to keep, disabling all my extensions (see photo) and turning off enhanced tracking protection for the site. After these actions, I restarted Firefox, but the DK pages are still empty. An Internet search found only a few articles about similar but not identical problems from several years ago to January 2022. A search of the Mozilla returned zero results.

I should mention that I -think- this started after one of the last two Firefox updates. I'm using version 105.0. I'm fresh out of ideas, and I'd appreciate any help the community or developers can give me. Thank you very much. - Don

Firefox stopped opening links in web pages like secondlife:///app/region/Kings%20Stone/224/155/22 ,WHere do I tell Firefox what application to use to handle that kind of a link?

The message I received from you is for Windows. I have a MAC.

See picture below. If I try to open up more than one tab, I get multiple home pages.

Is there an adjustment I can make to stop this?

Trying to retire the Google surveillance tool, Chrome, by using Firefox. Ugh, if y'all want to encourage this someone should really look at how this is done!

I got bookmarks moved and prefs setup. Importing extensions is really nice--thanks FF devs--but a feature of Chrome I use every day is the set of icons on the new tab/home page/startup page. It is super easy to customize on Chrome but I can find no way to do so in Firefox. These icons have no label on the page and are right under the search bar--see image.

I have spent most of the morning following unhelpful links about android or mentioning menu options that do not exist. I am using FF 119 on macOS.

For the past week, my browser does not auto-update. I have to download the update and re-download the browser.

I went into the settings and found the update section and when I clicked "Check for Updates", it kept saying "failed to check for updates". I tried with my proxy-settings on with VPN on, proxy-settings on with VPN off, proxy-settings off with VPN on, proxy-settings on, with VPN off.

This is in my personal laptop, where I am the only and admin profile.

My Firefox used to to auto-update but now it keeps saying I need to download the update, but my browser can't even tell if I have the most current version or not.

Have had this problem for a couple of years now, across dozens of Firefox updates. Decided to finally make a post since have not been able to find anything online.

Normally not too much of an issue as I can edit on a different computer through Firefox Sync (or through the Bookmarks manager), just posting to see if anyone else has seen this before.

If I open a Bookmarks Toolbar folder, then right-click a bookmark to edit it, the contextual menu appears behind the open folder dropdown menu.

Issue persists even if I reset Firefox, or even completely uninstall / remove ALL its bits and pieces, reboot, and do a clean install.

Since I am on a Mac, I use the AppCleaner app from FreeMacSoft to completely remove an app.

This happens only on one of my two Macs. Have never seen this behavior on any other Mac (I work on dozens for work). Both my Macs also have Win 10 installs through BootCamp and those two also behave normally. I use Firefox Sync across 4 Firefox installs (2 Mac OS and 2 Win 10), an iPhone, and an iPad.

Screenshot enclosed below. Feel free to ask for any other info you may need. I recognize this may not be a Firefox issue. There seems to be a funky interaction between my install of Mac OS and Firefox. This occurs only with Firefox. All other apps exhibit normal menu behaviors.

Tech details: Firefox 117.0 Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 running on mid 2012 15" MacBook Pro with 1 TB SSD and 16 GB RAM
