For months now I can't cut and paste if I use Firefox. I am not remotely interested is uninstalling a heap of adds in a vain attempt to fix the issue. I can use Google chrome and Wonderfox which don't suffer this issue. I fail to understand why Firefox is alone in this problem. I would switch to Wonderfox as a default but it only works on SSL sites. Please stop ignoring this issue and fix it. Running Windows 11 fully updated on an AMD cpu.

I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

It renders correctly in Chromium.

Firefox 126.0 using the recommended performance settings on Mint 21.3, nvidia quadro p620 using the official nvidia drivers v535.171.04-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

Hi, I posted this question about 3 upgrades ago. I run Win7_64 (Yes I know it's outdated!) with dual monitors. After closing FF I was always left with a partial FF screen window open on the left monitor. It could only be cleared with a screen refresh, or dragging another app. screen over the top. I checked the obvious like GFX drivers (which had never changed), FF .exe processes seem to have terminated and I confirmed no other app did this (even Chrome). I suspected it was a FF shutdown problem? I asked the question here but didn't get a solution until now.

I've now installed the latest update 115.11.Oesr (64 bit) and have not seen the same problem for a week. If it stays that way, thanks to the FF team for fixing this annoying problem.

I'm on OSX Catalina 10.15.7 and all of a sudden I am unable to get any sound from my FireFox browser. I tried to play audio/video from 3 different websites - Youtube, 123greeting.com and Gettr and while the video played, there was no audio coming out on any of the sites. I have no problems watching and hearing videos on my other browsers - Brave and Vivildi so this issue is with Firefox on multiple websites. Please advise as to where to look for some switch to turn the sound back on my Firefox browser. Thanks

I am trying to login to my Mozilla account so that I can backup my data and move it onto a new computer. However, even though Sync is activated, I cannot find my Mozilla Firefox password anywhere and am unsure of what it is. Is there anyway that someone who works at Mozilla can give me access to my password?

I am happy to verify my identity and prove that this is indeed my account, but I am not sure of how to go about doing so. I really need access to all of my data, and would be highly thankful for any assistance regarding this matter.

I have just upgraded the OS on Mac Mini with the M1 chip to Sonoma (14.5) I am running Firefox 126.0.

Now it seems that I have more than one problem since the upgrade. The browsing history in my sidebar is not current. It is running about a day behind.

I reported earlier that the type on my LinkedIn is only out 7 pt when my settings have the minimum size at 14 pt.

Somebody please help. I'm afraid to do a refresh because I don't know what it will do to my banking settings.

As per subject. When i click a Mailto link in a webpage, eMClient opens OK, but message window does not. Seems to be a Firefox problem because it works fine in Chrome. I've checked the Firefox and Windows (10) settings; all seems as it should be. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I used to (not long ago) convert jpg images into pdf, which works well for various applications. I am having a glitch in making the conversion now. My Firefox version is 123.0.1. Is there a reasonable workaround?

I often use Ctrl+Number to jump to a fixed tab, whereas on Linux the shortcut is Alt+Number, which causes some inconveniences. Is it possible to make Firefox use Ctrl+Number to switch tabs on Linux?

receiving repeated unwanted pop-ups supposedly from at & t, how to stop. When tried to cut and paste the pop-up jumped to another screen, but was able to forward sending web address to at & t fraud.

Not aware of any after marked pop-up blocker installed on my desktop.

Any security setting which can be set in MS to block pop ups?

The first time i enter fullscreen for the on the current monitor, the window is not filled completely. It fixes itself if i exit fullscreen and enter it again.

I did not observe this behaviour in 124.0

The fix mentioned in that thread is applied for me.

My internet has 750mb of bandwidth. Updated 64bit Firefox can only provide 320mb. I installed Chrome and the internet went to 800mb. What could be slowing down internet speed in Firefox? I restored Firefox, restarting everything. I did the same with Windows 10. I restored it to an earlier date. It didn't improve anything. What to do ?

When I start FireFox most times the browser comes up then stops and restarts with a pink color on the web address line. I have tried making changes in settings but I can not find a setting for this. If I restart Firefox right after this happens, I cn search or browse without the Pink address line. Why is this happening. I have been using firefox for years. My current version is 126.0.1 (64 bit). Within the last couple of months(?) I am unable to reach a website that I use on a semi-regular basis axisgis.com/AshbyMA The problem exists on 3 different devices, an HP laptop running win 10, an older desktop running win 10, and an older mac desktop running Catalina 10.15.7 which apple says is up to date. If I use Safari on the mac the website works perfectly. If I use private browsing on the laptop the website works perfectly. If I use private browsing on the desktop the website works perfectly. On the laptop I ran the firefox in troubleshoot mode and the website still would not work. I cleared the cache on the laptop and the website still won't work. Since the problem occurs on 3 different devices that are not synced to each other I can't believe it is a cookie problem. Rebooting devices makes no difference. I rebooted the Comcast modem and the house router, no change.

Any ideas would be welcome.

When I start Firefox it appears in a small window and it takes several tries to maximize it. In the past I right clicked on the Icon and I had a choice of setting the window to open in Maximum, this doesn't seem available now. How do I get the window to open in maximum on startup?

Hello! I installed Firefox about a year ago, and for the entire duration it seems about 60% of the time the default fonts on various websites look weird (bold?). I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, clearing the cache, etc. See attached images for examples. Help!

Hi need to get my old firefox back before installation of new version.

I have a subscription that allows for downloading of videos using a "DOWNLOAD" button that has disappeared after new version of firefox was loaded. also my antivirus application has disappeared. How do i put everything back the way it was. I'm using windows 10.
