Tried installing Firefox Nightly 123 on an iMac running Monterey 12.7.3. Will not install. Just get the spinning busy cursor and have to force quit. Installs fine in Sonoma.

Since support is being discontinued for W7 Firefox, would someone please recommend the best version of Firefox for Windows 7? Security is not a concern, since I have reliable 3rd-Party security setup(s) for my Windows 7 systems.

Recently I have found that I cannot download statements from my bank account, also at the same time (2/3 months ago) I cannot access a Tesco website from Firefox. I can carry out these functions easily from Microsoft Edge, so why the sudden change ? Can anyone please help me to fix this in Firefox?

I have been getting the "new version available, download now nag for over 2 weeks, and I have the latest version. Still get this issue repeatedly every day. Starting to become an every hour nag to update and install latest version of Firefox. Refuse to use Microsoft Edge or Chrome, and will switch off Firefox too if not rectified.

One of my machines has Windows 7 installed and uses Chrome browser. Recently I had a need to install Firefox. As soon as the install completed, all of my existing Google related shortcut icons changed to some generic type. No matter what I did I could not change the shortcut icons back to their original. I uninstalled Firefox and they all came back. Any suggestions?

Since the latest Firefox update a few days ago, I am not able to log into my Outlook/Webmail account; nothing happens.

I can access it on google chrome but not on Firefox.

Dear Mozilla:

It is SAD that the OS I have will no longer be supported due to exploits.

Considering the # of exploits, backdoors, poor coding, etc., in the later Windows OS versions - 1 would truly think that supporting the older and MUCH more secure Windows OS's would be wise.

Yes, they have "holes", but overall much fewer than current OS's.

Plus, the bad actors are very busy exploiting 10 & 11 and pretty much have ignored the prior versions.

Question... what if a major exploit is found that affects all OS's from 11 down to unsupported?

Will Mozilla make sure to supply a patch to the unsupported due to the danger of the new & serious "hole" found?

I vote... it would be wise to maintain a small contingency of legacy developers to help those who cannot buy new systems or flat out HATE the UI & UX of the 10 & 11.

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. Hi, my 2008 Mac Pro uses OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.6 and I am on Firefox 78.15.0esr, I cannot install the new upgrade. Can I continue using the older version of Firefox even though the sync will not work anymore?

I have been using Firefox for ages and never had a problem - love it - but now I see the remark: Firefox has ended support for Windows 8 and Vista on my screen at the right top corner. It also will no longer update my computer.

I do have and use Windows 10 - so I don't see what is the problem? I tried to refresh and that didn't work either.

Please help because I like to stay with Firefox but I do need to update and keep my computer secure.

I am not very computer savy so please tell me what to do in simple word.

Suddenly it stopped working on my computer, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I keep getting a message that there is a problem with the download and installation. Can anyone help?
