My primary/default browser is Firefox on Sonoma 14.4.1, and recently I'm unable to use the inputs of my audio interface for google hangouts. The relevant output is correct, and my system audio would be the same.

We have recently found out that Firefox doesn't sync with Google My Business listings as when you search for “Saffery Geneva” on Firefox it brings up “Saffery Champness SA”, while on Google it correctly appears as Saffery (Suisse) SA as per attached print screen.

Any idea why Firefox is not syncing with Google with respect to this listing?

I just got a new to me computer and it has Firefox 125.0.3 (64bit) but I was more comfortable with what I had Version 124.0.2 (64 bit). What would be the downside of changing to what I had? I just use it for home use and browsing. How would I go about making that change. I'm not to knowledgeable about computer language and stuff. Thanks, Larry

My Firefox settings are configured to "Open previous windows and tabs" on Startup. This worked fine until this morning, when I lost all of the tabs in my session, including the pinned ones. The last time I closed Firefox, there was only one window open.

I have already tried these ideas to restore the tabs:

• CTRL+SHIFT+T: Does nothing
• CTRL+SHIFT+N: Does nothing
• Three bar menu -> History -> Recently closed tabs: The list is empty
• Three bar menu -> History -> Recently closed windows: The option is greyed out
• Three bar menu -> History -> Restore previous session: The option does not exist in the menu
• Open user profile folder and open sessionstore-backups folder: There are three files named "previous.jsonlz4", "recovery.baklz4" and "recovery.baklz4". They are each 2KB and contain only an empty tab with the URL "about:home". There are three additional files starting with "upgrade" but they are from too long ago, so they don't contain the tabs I require.

The contents of these tabs are vitally important for my work, so this is causing me significant stress. If anyone can suggest ways to recover my previous tab beyond the documented fixes, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much to anyone who can help!

It appeared a few weeks ago. Now, when I load google map webpage, the map loads normally with all the street, country, road names, then 1 second later, all those texts disappear. I've disabled all Plugins, delete cache, load a brand new profile, without effects. Note that if I use a user agent switcher plugin and choose any Mobile versions (but not a desktop version), the names load (and stay) normally.

Hello, By default, DoH fails on Max Protection in the latest OS versions listed above. The workaround I've discovered is using https://1.1.1.1/dns-query, but I would rather use the default settings.

I haven't been able to login with MFA on my uni website and also make purchases using credit cards on commercial sites.

I have tried Troubleshooting mode and the problem persists. Switching to Opera browser showed normal functionality.

Firefox 125.0.3 (64-bit) on macOS 14.4

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.

I'm running Firefox which I compiled with vaapi support because I was trying to use hardware acceleration for videos, so I think this bug may have something to do with that. Every time I open a pdf file my browser instantly crashes. When I use troubleshoot mode I have no such issue. I then tried with a fresh all-default user profile with no add-ons, nothing, and still I crash when loading a PDF. Any pointers would be appreciated.

I keep getting notifications asking me to update firefox every couple of days. I download the update, it goes smoothly, the notification disappears, but it comes back in a day or two. I also have my setting to supposedly do updates automatically, but that doesn't seem to be working. Please help!

something apparently got corrupted in firefox.. i tried running update and i keep getting failed to update.. i have refreshed.. i have uninstalled and reinstalled ...nothing. i am sure there is a folder or file somewhere that is corrupted and i cannnot find it. because even when i uninstall and reinstall fresh. all my bookmarks are there .. how to i start a TRUE NEW install??

I installed an OBS plug-in for a virtual camera so that I could film my screen and pretend it's a webcam. I was able to use the virtual camera or my webcam on spelltable.com by selecting either from the dropdown "allow" menu. One day, I was no longer able to select my webcam. I could only select the obs virtual camera. I switched to MS Edge which worked as normal. I've uninstalled OBS and all plug-ins. Same result I've reinstalled firefox. Same result. I've been using MS Edge for websites that need my camera.

I want to keep browser open after closing last tab. I changed the boolean parameter "browser. tabs. closeWindowWithLastTab" to "false" but the browser still closes with closing of last tab.

What else is required ?

I can no longer play any podcast since upgrade to 125.0.3 The arrow/button to play any podcast is neutral, is not active. Or, on spotify if finding a podcast on gardening, clicking the play button plays something on a completely different topic.

My Windows virus protection shows nothing but I keep getting notices int he lower right corner of my screen that say Mozilla Firefox ESR and tell me there is an infection. It tries to take me to a website to scan and then buy McAfee to fix it. If I make sure Firefox is shut down (forced through Task Manager) it seems to go away. It appears that only the Firefox browser may be infected.

when I search for a page after opening a tab. The page will load slowly then stop. I'll then have to hit enter again for the page the load. This does not happen with Chrome or Edge. Any ideas how to fix this frustrating issue. Thanks.
