I have tried severals methods to import a pst file from outlook to thunderbird but no success.

To be clear, I have a new computer which I don't use outlook with. Then, fomr my old computer I have reduce my pst file less than 2G. I have installed the importexporttools NG extension but i cannot import this pst. If i want to convert the file, i have to pay. I don't want because i need to do it once only.

Who can help ?

In new version i can switch between search engines, but it makes me to many clicks. In old version, i just clicked icons in bottom and it become search in this engine. How to bak to the old version?

how to see how many time and when I visited a website in firefox. like I visited "https://www.themoviedb.org/person/500-tom-cruise" 10 times. now it only show latest time not the first or secnd or third in firefox. how to see?

Since I upgraded from FF128-esr to FF140-esr I always get the "Firefox is being updated by another instance" This is really driving me crazy, as I checked / did / .... everything (and even more) I found on the internet related to that.

Nothing helps !

Creating and using a new default profile didn't help

Finally I ended up uninstalling FF completely (making sure no -zero- leftovers remained in ProgramFiles, AppData a.s.o.), and reinstalled FF140.7.0-esr freshly. After installation I started FF immediately with the created default profile (only existing one) --> SAME THING : "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

And this is really a FF140 thing, when I go back to FF128, on the same computer, same profiles, ...., the problem is gone.

I would like to know in detail what checks are really done by FF to decide to give that "Firefox is being updated by another instance"

Ich benutze Firefox auf zwei Windows 11 Rechnern. Die Version ist auf beiden Rechnern gleich, (149.9 esr 32Bit ) , beide Rechner greifen im Fall des Verfassens einer E-Mails mit Anhängen auf einen gemeinsamen Speicher über LAN zu, seit kurzem gibt es bei einem der beiden Rechner aber beim Anhängen einer Datei an die Mail eine Verzögerung von ca. 5 Sekunden, bevor der Anhang auftaucht, unabhängig von dessen Größe. ( Also auch kleine Pdf´s werden verzögert angezeigt.) Der zweite Rechner hat das Problem nicht, selbst bei grösseren Anhängen. ( Auch sind die Rechner fast bau-und ausstattungsgleich ) Testprogramme auf dem Problem-PC zeigen keine Auffälligkeiten beim Schreiben und Lesen, auch die Internet-Verbindung ist die gleiche... Habe bereits die Einstellungen der Konten und des Programms in beiden Rechnern verglichen, sie sind gleich. Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen kann?

I have saved relevant e mails to local folders in my Thunderbird account on my Applemac. I opened up Thunderbird on my MacBook and downloaded my Thunderbird account but it did not copy those local folders, merely 1 empty folder. Without these also shown in my Thunderbird account when I am away from home, I cannot see those records. I am struggling to find a solution. Are you able to help please? Alan Dowler

Ich habe die Firefox-Einstellungen von einem alten Windows10 Rechner auf den neuen Windows11 PC mit den Profildateien übertragen, hat gut geklappt.. Jetzt hatte ich die Meldung erhalten " der Treiber cpuz419_x64.sys konnte nicht installiert werden wegen möglicher Virus-Gefährdung", als Abhilfe wurde angeboten die Ker-Sicherung auszuschlaten. Das habe ich mir nicht getraut. Als weitere Info erschien eine Seite, auf der "Windows10" unterstrichen war. Könnte das alte Profil dem Rechner vorgaukeln, dass ich Windows 10 nutze?bold text

I am unable to retrieve an already downloaded email (with attachments) from my INBOX to RECEIVED IMPORTANT MAILS.

All other mails (without attachments) can be clearly seen in the RECEIVED IMPORTANT MAILS folder but the ones with Attachments (irrespective of the size of the attachments) do not show.

I can see that email with attachments in my Thunderbird INBOX but the moment i move those mails to the Folder: RECEIVED IMPORTANT MAILS, it doesn't show. This issue, however, is not there on my other systems that also have Thunderbird installed but on my WINDOWS 11 laptop. I am using Version 149.0.1 (64 bit). Is it a storage issue because this particular issue has been cropping up only since March 28th.

Sorry folks, this is really confusing for me and it kind of snuck up on me like fading breaks on a car.

"This" computer is my main one and I use it the most.

I load youtube and get the usual list of suggestions. If I moved my mouse over any, they would start to play and I would "preview" them on that screen. I could select if I wanted the audio and subtitles.

All was good.

Fire fox has updated and the O/S has also over time and "recently" the "preview" stopped. (Oh well. Such is life.) I didn't think much of it.

Then the other day I was on ANOTHER machine (different O/S, similar/same plugins) and loaded youtube just for the sake of it and as I moved the mouse over the clips: I got the "preview".

I've shared the data from this machine. Kind of difficult to do it in/on THIS post from the OTHER machine also.

For clarity: It used to work. I didn't change any settings in any of the plugins/addons or FF settings. They were "working" as I wanted and so there was no reason to change them. I am guessing this is a "easy thing to fix" but the specifics of what I need to do is beyond me at this point.

I'd appreciate some guidance in how t find the difference between the two machine's settings so I can get the preview to work again.

Just to put it out there too: I have a "squillion" tabs open. They all seem to work and unless I really get carried away with things, Firefox 95% of the time behaves itself. Now and then it "locks up" and stops responding. The best solution is a total reboot and restart.

I have a GPO policy that sets Homepage for startup to open specific URL, and now it just stopped working after last update to version 149, instead i get standard FF startpage.

- tried updating .admx templates to the newest version

- about:policies shows correctly that GPO is enforced

Everything checks out but somehow it is not working anymore. Someone with similar problem?

Since the most recent update installed on Firefox, my homepage no longer loads on opening the browser. Instead, a blank page loads, and I have to hit the home button in order to get to my home page. I've checked and none of my settings have changed, so don't see what else it can be other than some kind of bug?

in Thunderbird I have the window with the email header lists. I receive mails with icons/emojis (stars, flowers, birds, ...) in the subject line which are annoying. In particular, I dislike the 4 angle star in front of the line for some of them. I would like that they are not displayed. how can I achieve this? other email clients make this possible. Thank you
