I think that this is not a Firefox problem, but rather a thing with your computer.
For Windows 7 (Windows 8 too maybe???)
- First, open the control panel
- Now, click on Hardware and Sound
- After that, click on Devices and Printers
- Find your printer and right click on it
- Select Set as default printer
- Firefox should probably print to this printer now, but if it doesn't try going into Print Preview
For Apple and others
- I don't know... sorry
