firefox has issues after update
Every single time I update Firefox I wind up having issues with it! My current issue (which has also been an issue before and never satisfactorily resolved - I merely learned to live with it) is the complete loss of my homepage. Despite the fact the options show it to be set correctly, it now opens the last page I had from my previous session.
I know you're going to tell me that everything looks fine so try to uninstall/reinstall, or fiddle with my preferences file; all the usual panaceas, but I'm having none of it! This problem happens EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I update FF!!!! That is ridiculous and it needs to stop. As this is a common issue with so many users it is something that should get fixed long before any pretty little visual adjustments and other such nonsense.
Another issue that constantly comes up is the lack os saved preferences. I will go for months with the damn browser not saving my preferences and then, boom! suddenly some random day it will start doing what I want it to and then, just as fast, y'all will come out with another update and I'm back to the same old problems!
Look, I like FF, it's my favorite browser. I just really need for it to work like it's supposed to EVERY TIME I OPEN IT! Is there a fix that doesn't require me to wipe my hard drive? Seriously, this is getting waaaaay old!

Hello JaneDoe1651, check if you have any issues in safe mode.
also, in your system details it seems that you have in your profile folder a User.js file. The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you have not created, then try to delete the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs create the file also).
thank you

Yes, that worked! Thank you, much easier than all that other BS!
