try disabling firebug
I tried disabling firebug and it still crashed. I also tried removing firebug and tmz.com still crashed.
I also did a reset on Firefox 24 which removed all plugins and Firefox 24 still crashed when visiting www.tmz.com

Could be a problem with Norton software, so make sure that you have updated Norton to the latest version.

I have Symantec Endpoint and it is up to date.
alright simple solution make a new profile :) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
I'm on 25 Beta getting the same.
I disabled all addons but it still crashes when I visit TMZ.com
The only way I can read that site is to disable flash. I confirmed that I am running the latest version of flash.
To cybervibin
Might be a simple solution to you but for me its a big deal. Deleting the profile and resetting all my addons, bookmarks etc is a big deal.
Hi KamWest, this is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with Flash. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) If you use any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media, make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable protected mode (on Windows Vista and newer)
See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
i use xmarks for my bookmarks ! sync and kept in the cloud
Hi ecalderon9, thank you for the crash report. It has a link to the bug tracking system indicating this will be fixed in Firefox 27, and is under consideration to fix in Firefox 25 and 26 (it's not too late for that).
The problem seems related to how Firefox interacts with accessibility software. For example, the developers could trigger the bug by running the Windows 7 "Narrator" while visiting TMZ. If you use reader software, you might see whether you can turn it off just for this site until the bug is fixed.
i have the "JSFunction::existingScript()" crash, not appear in firefox 28 but it appear in fifore 24? what is the root cause? may be have some the problem in firefox 24?
Hi nhduong29, I will reply in your new thread: Firefox crashes.
