thank you, these crashes seem to be related to your graphics hardware - please try updating your graphics driver, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general.
The problem is NOT the graphics drivers and disabling the hardware acceleration does not fix the problem. I have had the same problem for the past couple months and every time I have checked this thread, more users have reported the same problems and they have all been given this answer. This is not the answer.
In the above posted crash reports with this [@ nvwgf2um.dll@0xf66ea ] signature it is likely an hardware acceleration issue.
Yours may be different.
If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
- You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website, or open this page via "Help > Troubleshooting Information".

sbpbrent, the answer to disable hardware acceleration is the correct one for the original poster in this thread - but there countless reasons that might trigger crashes of course. if you want to get help for your individual problem, please provide some crash report ids like it is described above.
