Watching videos and listening music with You Tube run-stop constantly. How to fix this?
Since a month or so, watching videos and listening music with You Tube the image and sound runs, stops constantly. Provider says: your internet connection and speed is OK. I did not change my internet provider nor speed. Using IE, run-stop problem is certainly much less. No problems at all using, loading other websites with Firefox. Does somebody recognize this phenomenon? Do you know how to fix it?

I can only tell you my experience of this phnomenon:
Both under OS X and Windows, I've had this problem. From time to time, a YouTube video which seems to buffer well enough might suddenly just stop playing. It's only natural to think it might be some problem related to Firefox. However, the same thing may happen when I stream a YouTube video on my phone, running iOS. Firefox doesn't have an app for iOS.
On my phone, an easy fix was to reset my network settings. On my computer, though, I always keep a clean house and clear cache regularly, etc. This happened just only a few hours ago on my Windows machine.
However, not all systems are alike and some articles you might want to have a look at are:
Krissie, thank you for your suggestions. However,
1. Updated realplayer, no effect. 2. Cleared firefox cache, which is carried out often by registry mechanic since i use this frequently. No effect. 3. cancelled hardware acceleration, no effect notified.
I wonder if there are other possible solutions? Jtsum
Well, you might also try and disable hardware acceleration inside of Flash player. Go to YouTube, right-click inside the flash video, choose Settings and then disable hardware acceleration. You might also want to try and clear your DNS cache:
Or change your DNS settings if your are inside of the U.S.:

Krissie, both options carried out.
During playing right click inside the video and there appeared an interesting window; switched off the hardware acceleration. But no effect observed; computer restarted: no difference.
DNS flushed. Computer said is was emptied. When using IE there are hardly any hick-ups. But in firefox there are run and stop moments about every minute. I think firefox is performing somewhat better, but not as good as it was earlier.
Thank you for your help, Krissie. Problem is not solved, however.
To morrow I will contact symantec. May they can say if their antivirus and firewall is causing conflicts??
Kind regards Jtsum
