Firefox just updated itself without asking me and now says it cannot run on my version of Mac. I do not want to update Mac, How do I uninstall the FF update?
I tried downloading a firefox version (3.6?) that was compatible with Mac 10.4 and replacing the firefox on my system but it did not work.

hello, the last version that was compatible with os x 10.4.11 is firefox 3.6.28 - you can download it from here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
Firefox 3.6.x versions are compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.
Only Firefox 4+ versions won't work.
You can find the last Firefox 3.6.x release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

Along with these helpful replies you can turn off automatic updates. Go to tools, advanced tab, update tab, then select whether or not you want automatic updates, tell me if there's an update, or never tell me about updates.
