after upgrading to version 8 firefox is asking for a reboot evertime i start firefox
I have restarted the computer 4 times and still Firefox says must restart computer to complete the upgrade. Tried uninstalling and still get same error. Tried the updte again and get same error. Tried safe mode get same. How do I manualy uninstall Firefox.

- get fresh installer from getfirefox.com
- remove Firefox completely
- run a clean install and try
Remove the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
