On Monday September 25th from 10PM EDT - 12AM EDT (2AM UTC - 4AM UTC on September 26th), we will be performing system maintenance on the Firefox Accounts databases for two hours. During the maintenance window, there will be brief periods of a few minutes where users will not be able to login to their accounts. Please try again at a later time.

Is typing fx "Gmail" instead of "Gmail.com" in the location/awesome bar not possible in Firefox 4.0? Now I just get long loading time and a search result instead of my emails.

I know, I know.... Why can't I just be happy that both "https://" and "www." have been eliminated? But I thought it was a great feature of the previous version of Firefox that ".com" was also unnecessary and Firefox would just load the page.

Is there a way to change the settings of the location bar / awesome bar to support this function?
