I use SecondCopy backup software which has reports. I have it set to copy my Mozilla bookmark details. It is set to take details from C:\Users\Ann\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\x2y707ur.default

SecondCopy reports this file to be empty "Warning: Source folder is empty C:\Users\Ann\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\x2y707ur.default\"

As far as I know, this changed happened at the last Firefox automatic upgrade.
