Firefox for android shows "File not found" error message while trying to open few locally saved PDFs on Oneplus phone

I see this "File not found" error while trying to open few PDFs using Firefox browser. For example: Income Tax return acknowledgement. I am able to open the same PDF using other Android apps like Kindle, Google Drive PDF Viewer, Files by Google etc.

Gemini says ...it's because 'Firefox for Android' does not support content:// links treating it as a security risk. Here's a screenshot for your reference:

Hi, I don't think that this answer is correct. We support opening PDFs and we don't treat content:// links as a security risk.

But I don't think we can open files from the space of another app like content://com.oneplus.xxx. It should be in the accessible space like content://media/external/, or something like that.

That said the source app has to expose the file to that temporary URI and message about it correctly — see support.mozilla.org/questions/1589232 for the longer read and please add any relevant info to the referenced bug, including device details, Android version, the source app / file manager details etc. — thanks!
