DNS over HTTPs add for android
DNS for HTTPS was added in Oct-2025 for android but was removed for years from Android. Why was DNS over HTTPS removed from Android and only now returned ?

DNS for HTTPS landed as a feature for the first time in Firefox for Android in October in Firefox for Android version 143.
But Mozilla was the first to provide DOH for desktop and Android years ago and it was removed from the android. mozilla only add DOH back Oct-2025 after many years of no DOH for androidn.

This is the first time DNS over HTTPS has been available as a feature in Firefox for Android. There were some unsupported hacks that could turn it on in earlier builds but they were not supported or recommended.
That is not correct. DNS over HTTPS was first brought out by mozilla fo the desktop as well as android. But if you beileave this is the case why would it take many years and I would say about 7 years for FF for android to product a DNS over HTTPS when moziila came out with DOH first ?
You are correct in saying that DoH landed in the desktop copy of Firefox some years ago, but the focus on mobile has been in getting Firefox for Android more polished. I can assure you, DoH has only recently landed as a feature in Firefox for Android.
