That is, I would like to have only the contents of one tab container shown on my browser at a time, and be able to switch from one container to another freely. What is the use of containers if all their contents are displayed at once on the tabs of my browser?

I tried the Conex extension as recommended, and found it useful.

Install the Conex extension and enable "only show tabs of the current container".

I was hoping container tabs would work something like Group tabs, in Chrome, where I can move a tab into or out of a group, and if I click on the label for a group, its contents can be toggled between displayed or hidden. If containers are supposed to work that way, I haven't been able to figure out how to make those things happen. Thanks!
