close multiple tabs
Hi. My Firefox keeps selecting multiple tabs, and I can't fix it. When I try to switch tabs, it only selects it as once of the "group of those tabs that I want to move, delete etc." The "chosen tabs" turn blue when I tap them, and I cant get this feature off.
Only solution that I have found, is restarting my laptop. Please help. I do not wish for this to continue its very annoying.

On Windows -- so this could be slightly different on Mac -- holding the Shift and Ctrl key when clicking is how you multi-select tabs. It is similar to the same way you multiselect files in a folder. If your Firefox thinks you are holding down Shift or Ctrl or Command, it sometimes helps to jab that key rapidly half a dozen times.
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
