I've recently updated FF and now I find that I can't logon to several established websites that were working before the update. I'm now at version 97.0.
Do I need to "undo" the update so I can log onto my established websites? I am using Blur to help fill in the requested login values. But most of the time, I get circular fixes by the website, that after doing the reset of passwords, etc., still won't work. This is causing much frustration. Please respond asap.

Do you recall when this started? One possible explanation is a problem with cookies due to certain changes in Firefox 96.0. Those were reversed in later updates, but you could double-check:
(A) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
More info on about:config: Configuration Editor for Firefox. The moderators would like us to remind you that changes made through this back door aren't fully supported and aren't guaranteed to continue working in the future.
(B) In the search box in the page, type or paste samesite and pause while the list is filtered
Firefox should list five matching preferences:
- network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault => default value is false
- network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault.disabledHosts => default value is (nothing)
- network.cookie.sameSite.laxPlusPOST.timeout => default value is 120
- network.cookie.sameSite.noneRequiresSecure => default value is false
- network.cookie.sameSite.schemeful => default value is false
(C) If any of those preferences do not have their default value, click the Reset button (left-arching arrow) at the right end of its row.
