Bookmarks not saved after refresh and system cold reset. Why ?
Hi all, Once again I get caught out by Bookmark issues which really Mozilla should sort out; It is an annoying problem after a forced FF reset the bookmark folder on the LH side is lost and doesn´t reappear on a system start. Retrieving it is hell. How can I get it to come back to how it originally was, appearing on start up ?

Fred..... Problem solved. Maybe for others in a quandary over this, look for the menu bar -> VIEW -SIDEBAR. Make sure BOOKMARKs is clicked. OMO, really the sidebar glossary is a bit of a decoy as it really should be relabeled "Bookmark sidebar" on the Bookmarks menubar as this is the subject issue. It did create alot of running around.
Anyway a Beer on line for the trouble.

Just to add, in the MENU bar = View/Toolbars/Bookmarks Toolbar the "Always Show" is clicked and yet on a warm reset it doesn´t default to this. How to get around this ? rj
Are you talking about a system reset, or the browser?
If the browser:
Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder
called; Old Firefox? Look inside.
Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

If the system: Open your file browser to your user folder. Look for a folder called Windows.old
