Trying to apply for a job, trying to open Amazon, and I get this failed message: the authenticity of the received data could not be verified? what to do to fix this crap.

What security software do you have?
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
