Thank you Robert. But the "transfert" of the link to Edge etc ... is far simple than the maketecheasier procedure. Nb: i was aware of this procedure but i thought Firefow had a simple way to do it. So i would suggest Mozilla implement something as simple as Edge ? Best regards

Hello guylesire,

At startup Firefox opens your homepage, which you can set to
any site that you want and as many sites as you want ....

See :

Would that do what you want or does it not even come close ?

Hello McCoy Thank for your concern, but this is not what i am looking for. I would like the opportunity to add a Firefox link into the tiles of Windows (start menu when you click on the Windows logo at the bottom left?) Best regards

Sorry I misconstrued your question ....

But "as simple as Edge" : the start menu is a Windows feature, that Firefox has no control over I'm afraid (only Windows browser).

But on the bright side : You marked RobertJ's post as Chosen Solution, so : problem solved, eh ?

Hi McCoy Thks again. In reality, i just moved from a HP Windows 10 laptop to a DELL Windows 10 Pro laptop. And apparently the environment is different.

Using the EDGE procedure to create tiles into the start menu from Firefox links , the tiles requiring a browser to open, are opened with EDGE instead of Firefox which is my default WEB browser... and I am not interested on EDGE.

So I will use the "maketecheasier" procedure related "Pin Website Links Using Other Browsers". (https://www.maketecheasier.com/add-website-links-windows-start-menu/])

Thank you to all. Best regards "problem" solved

I wonder why you would want Firefox links in Windows start menu, but then I tell myself that it's none of my beeswax.

Wouldn't you rather just have desktop shortcuts (and the Firefox icon on the taskbar that opens your homepage) ?

Hi McCoy Thanks Am not sure i understand your wording (am french speaking) I used desktop shortcuts before but i was unable to organise them permanently as, very often they were automatically reorganised by exterior actions such as Windows update for example and then every shortcuts appeared suddenly disorganised. NB: my desktop shortcut was quite full. In addition the sort by name is not working as i thought it should work like an incomplete sort result. So Windows start menu is very easier for me in addition to the fact that i can concentrate shortcut with the same scope together into one tile such as photos, GPS, Office etc ... In fact i started as informatic engineer in 1970 and while my carreer has evoluated outside informatic, i am still very concerned with informatic. Best regards

You are probably referring to "none of my beeswax" ...... (?)

That means "none of my business" ("Ce ne sont pas mes affaires")

In Dutch (my native language) : "dat gaat me niets aan".
