can't do windows 10 thunderbird search
Search email used to work in Windows 7 but now does not work in Windows 10. I have set up "Allow Windows Search to search messages" correctly with box checked on, but it does not work. Also tried "Repair Folder", but didn't work. When I do a Windows 10 search on email I only get "Search in Outlook Web". There is no "Thunderbird" option there in Windows 10 search, and adding IMAP account did not work. How do I get Windows 10 email search to work with Thunderbird?

windows search. What a pig.
With thunderbird you search in "folders" in windows search. Personally I disable the whole thing in Thunderbird disable the windows crawling over the profile files that search does to slow things down and I just search in Thunderbird.
