Why is my search history is being saved in private browsing mode. It has not done this in the past, now i can't stop it from saving everything.
This has not always been the case but its happening now and I don't know why. I don't play with the firefox settings at all. It's as if all my private browsing has been converted to normal browser settings. I've updated and restarted firefox and still when I open a new private window all of my history auto populates once I start typing.

It saves it until you close Firefox down. Then is deleted.
