Recently my computer has been weird. I just need to use firefox to browse some web pages, then suddenly my computer gets so noisy - CPU used over 60%! I first thought that it might be somebody using my computer to dig some crypto coins, so I got MinerBlock on. It does not help. What is the problem?

Is this on many websites, some, a few?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Also, let's make sure your system is clean.
