Error message when one e-mail address used, other OK
I normally use my Hotmail address, but occasionally a PlusNet address. Now with the plusnet address when I try to send the message I get: An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Cannot submit message. 16.55847:84160000, 17.43559:0000000094000000000000000000000000000000, 20.52176:140FFA8113004010F1030000, 20.50032:140FFA817B174010F1030000, 0.35180:0A008282, 255.23226:F1030000, 255.27962:0A000000, 255.27962:0E000000, 255.31418:0A000785, 16.55847:94000000, 17.43559:0000000068010000000000000000000000000000, 20.52176:140FFA81130000100A00F736, 20.50032:140FFA817B1700100A00F836, 0.35180:F1030000, 255.23226:B10F0000, 255.27962:0A000000, 255.27962:32000000, 255.17082:DC040000, 0.27745:140FFA81, 4.21921:DC040000, 255.27962:FA000000, 255.1494:C0010000, 0.37692:B1000000, 0.37948:B1000000, 5.33852:00000000534D545000000000, 4.56248:DC040000, 7.40748:010000000000010B30303A4D, 7.57132:00000000000000003A353961, 1.63016:32000000, 4.39640:DC040000, 8.45434:FDBF060063C9998F000000000000000000000000, 5.10786:0000000031352E32302E303530362E3030303A4D4D58503132334D42303836343A35396139626135312D356363352D343338322D626666612D30613031383333653865306200000000000000, 255.1750:0A007D82, 255.31418:4F010000, 0.22753:0A003985, 255.21817:DC040000, 4.60547:DC040000, 0.21966:59010000, 4.30158:DC040000 [Hostname=MMXP123MB0864.GBRP123.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM]. Please check the message and try again.
PlusNet have tried my plusnet address and say they cannot see a problem. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks

Judging by the error message, you are trying to send a mail for your plusnet account using the SMTP-account of your Outlook account.
Please check your server settings under Tools > Account Setting > [plusnet account] and choose the correct Outgoing server (SMTP).
Thanks for your quick reply. At present the SMTP is set at "Use default server", There are two other options, one for Hotmail and one for an e-mail account with another ISP which is no longer functioning. There does not seem to be any facility for adding another option, or changing the one no longer operational.
Go to Tools > Account Settings and click in the left pane on Outgoing Server (SMTP), the last item. There you can add a new SMTP-server for your PlusNet account. I can't help you with the settings for that server, but probably your ISP can: check their website. Alternatively, you can add a temporary new mail account and use the Account Creation Wizard to setup that account. This will create another incoming and outgoing server. Once finished, you can remove the incoming account again. (Be sure to remove the new account, and not the existing one.)
Thanks again for your quick reply. Your first suggestion didn't work - see my previous post. I tried to set up an additional account having got the settings from PlusNet. It seemed happy with this but there was a problem when I was asked to enter a password - It wouldn't accept any that I tried. Then I found it had created a new account and that the SMPT for both now included the PlusNet server details. However when I tried to send a test message it required a password and again none I tried worked. So I'm stuck again!
