On any page that I open with Firefox, the top right corner of the tab, the minimize, maximize and red x icon are shaded out?

I have tried most of the fixes on your support site. Right now as I look at the web page, the top right corner where the minimze/maximize icons are, both of those icons are slightly grey, like there is some cloud cover over the icons. Same for the red x icon, but it is only half cloudy, with the right side of the icon being clear red. It has been a while since I came back and tried to use firefox so I dont remember what the other issues were. All I know is Firefox has caused me problems. My mother and Aunt live in the same house, and we all have switched form Firefox to Chrome. I really dont like Chrome, but right now it is better than Firefox.

Are you using an Aero Theme in Windows 7?

Is that slight visual imperfection affecting your use of Firefox? How does it stop you from using Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

No, not using Aero. The imperfection came when I wasn't able to get Firefox to work or open pages, it all happened at once so it was a concern.

This morning I refreshed Firefox, but it didn't work.

As I type this message, the cloud is gone? I have opened numerous windows and it seems fine.

A couple of months ago I stopped using Firefox because of the issues, I tried every fix but nothing worked. Looks like it is gone and no issues?

Thx for the replies, I will monitor and see if anything changes.
