Hi all!

My Firefox is doing this exceptionally annoying thing in the tab bar and also on web pages. It will focus on a particular aspect of a tab and fill the entire tab with that image, making everything impossible to read (I've attached images of this because I know that's a little vague). It will only ever do that on the web page I'm currently on, it won't extend to other tabs. It will also do it on web pages. For instance, on Facebook it will take a random piece from somewhere on the page and repeat it elsewhere on the page (a picture has been attached for this as well). It will also put pictures from elsewhere on the page where others should be and keep them there as I scroll until I set my cursor over it when it will switch the picture back to the way it should be. Finally, it will glitch the absolute hell out of some gifs if there is more than one on a page. It's almost like it's trying to do 2 things at once but it will flicker back and forth between them and it gets nauseating.

I've had this issue for a couple of weeks now and have tried a couple different things to rectify it, but have come up with nothing. You all seem very helpful, but I'm submitting a new question because I don't have McAfee on my computer and many answers here have been suggesting disabling it. I just updated my Firefox, thinking it might help but it hasn't, the problem is still presenting. I have Norton anti-virus, if that helps. The only add-ons I have are Adblock Plus, DivX Web Player, Invisible Hand, Norton Toolbar (which is new as of today - 7/5/25), Skype Click-To-Call, and XKit (a tumblr extension that has never been an issue).

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!
