I can not update Adobe Flasher Player, although Firefox says I should.
Whenever I try to update Adobe Flasher player, the process suddenly stops after I grant permission to run the program and "say" yes to "Do you want Adobe to make changes." The new version never gets installed. What do I do?

hi JamesHughes, if you have issues with the flash installation please try to use the offline installer from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html - for firefox use the windows exe-installer for plugin-based browsers...
I tried the suggestion, but the same thing happened. When I answer "yes" to the question, "Do you want Adobe to make changes to this computer?", it seems to start the process, then stops. The box entitled Adobe Download Manager is blank.
