Hi funtomas,

I understand you're having trouble installing updates on your Alcatel OneTouch Fire E.

Please contact Alcatel's customer service channels for further support. They responsible for the device-specific builds on your device, including updates, and may be able to assist you.

In the meantime, I am also opening bug 1156583 to track this issue.

Thanks,

- Ralph

Thanks Ralph, FYI, I've read somewhere else, the Status 7 error means the downloaded package is not compatible with the device. I'll contact local support company regarding this issue and will report back.
