Cannot get on The National Lottery site-can access all other websites-have done all the suggestions on other posts-still can't access the site
Can access the National Lottery site on my husbands laptop but not on my laptop or a tablet ? Have tried all the suggestions on the replies to other people who have had this problem ??

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
- Clear the Cache and
- Remove Cookies
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.
Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.
- Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
- Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.
If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.
Last resort; Remove History For One Site Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.

Something you could try very quickly. Disable your ADB Helper 0.7.3 extension.
Sorry this doesn't mean anything to me!!!!! Where do I find it ti disable it please?
If your virus protection has a subjects-filter-block (gambling, adult, etc) that could be the reason
Gambling sites not blocked and I was able to access it before and have not changed anything.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Sorry but yes the problem is still there. I managed to get on this morning from a link in an email from the Lottery site but that is now giving the same problem again

Have gone on today and lo and behold I can now access the Lottery site-weird or what???
