Hello thomas-elliot

If you recently installed Firefox you can import your favoites from your other browser's to firefox. Example* in edge access settings profiles and choose import browser data in profiles.

If you lost your favourites from firefox there are a few Methodes:

Method 1: Restore from Automatic Backup

Open Firefox and click the Menu (three-line) icon.
Select Bookmarks and then Manage bookmarks.
In the Bookmarks Library, click Import and Backup.
Select Restore and choose a backup date containing your lost bookmarks.
   Click OK to confirm restoration.

If you have a JSON file you can manually restore them in manage bookmarks.

Please elaborate a little more on your bookmark issue please.

Thank you,

For reference, see Recover lost or missing Bookmarks.

Assuming this is the same problem with bookmarks that I have then the issue is the bookmarks toolbar. The symptoms are: 1. A blank grey strip that appears and disappears when I show/hide the bookmarks toolbar. 2. Manage bookmarks still shows all the expected bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar. 3. Adding a new item to the bookmarks toolbar does not result in any visible change.

Hi, what makes you think the OP experiences the same issue? For your issue, please ask a new question.

I'm not assuming that it's the same issue, but it could well be, or could be completely different, given the lack of detail. I'm providing some possible details to prompt the OP to confirm that's it, or to add more detailed symptoms, if different.
