My bookmarks menu is (empty) and I cannot save new bookmarks. Will not import under manage bookmarks tab. WHY is this suddenly happening on this computer when all my bookmarks and passwords are fine on my other computer?

Not sure if this is the right area for the toolbar bookmark, but mine since the update now shows a black screen over the list. I have a mac ios system. Can you help me get it back to clear? thank you
