Loaded web page immediately goes to bottom of page.
Several of the web pages I load immediately go to the bottom of the page. With CBS Sports it fights me to go to the top of the page.

Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem,
Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Did all of the above. The problem didn't happen when in troubleshooting mode but as soon as I returned to normal - happened again. CBS Sports is the worse one although the forum here did the same thing.
If it works in Troubleshoot Mode and in normal mode with all extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing the problem by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via one of these:
- "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
- Windows: File -> Exit
- Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
- Linux: File -> Quit
It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or it could be Hardware Acceleration. How to disable Hardware Acceleration {web link}
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All Of them.
If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.
As near as I can guess, the culprit was my password manager - RoboForm. Can't do without that as I have used it for several years so, will have to live with the problem. Thanks for your efforts.
Does this still happen with only RoboForm enabled ?
This hasn't been reported before on this forum as far as I know.
You can possibly try to contact RoboForm for support.
I didn't get that far. Once I found that RoboForm did it, I quit.
It is possible that this is an interaction between RoboForm and other extensions, so it is worth a try to check this with only RoboForm enabled.
