I JUST TRIED TO OPEN A DOWNLOADED EMAIL AND FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I WAS TOLD TO ENTER THE PASSWORD TO OPEN THE PDF FILE I TRIED ADOBE ACROBAT AND THEN TRIED MOZILLA WHAT PASSWORD ARE THEY ASKING FOR, WHERE CAN I FIND IT THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE THE LAST MOZILLA UPDATE

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS PERFORMANCE AND CONNECTIVITY . MONTHS AGO ALL MY LOGIN AND PASSWORD INFORMATION WAS REMOVED. i HAVE BEEN ABLE TO START INSTALLING THOSE THAT I COULD BY ADDING THOSE I COULD BUT HUNDREDS WERE NOT AVAILABLE . AND MY COMPUTER HAS BEEN WORKING KIND OF OK JUST RECENTLY I NOTICED AN UPDATE TO MY COMPUTER HAPPENED AND IT IS NOT WORKING VERY WELL

The email address box does not accept the email address and comes up with an error message. The only way to send an email is to use a different browser ie Google. Emails are still received as normal on Firefox / BT mail

Hello, I was using a cleaner program called "Cleaner One Pro" and I mistakenly let it clean my main firefox profile, and then I backed up my system afterward, unknowingly overwriting my recent backup. When I tried running firefox again, it had regressed to an earlier snapshot of my profile and was reloading all my tabs as well. Also, all my previous sessions and my history was all erased. This program should not have erased those, and if it had not, I could have simply let the tabs reload and been fine. So my profile was left in an earlier state with no way to recover current tabs. I have many, many, many open tabs on firefox, which has NEVER been a problem whatsoever. All my tabs were in an earlier version. I, however, found that firefox had made a partial backup of my profile into another folder in the same folder as my profile, but this backup was not complete, and trying to use it as a complete profile resulted in only a few tabs open at all, worse than even before. But this limited backup included my complete, current history. Are there any other file or files in this limited profile backup that I could use to restore my open tabs? I am using the absolute latest and newest version of firefox. My sessions and similar files are missing from both folders. It seems this funny little partial profile backup was made, and I was hoping there was a way to restore my open tabs from this little, smaller, partial firefox backup profile folder. Has anyone ever seen this, and how can I recover?

As of now, I restored an 11-day old profile and was able to import my new history into that using an extension, and if worst came to worst, I could at least recover my history and all the sites in that time of the missing 11 days I had went into, but I was hoping to recover my current tabs from that time as well. In this limited profile backup folder that exists next to the profile folder that was trashed, Is there any other file besides the session files that could have stored my open tabs, that I somehow didn't see or know about, which I could use to get my tabs back? I would willingly let firefox reload my tabs if possible to restore them as they were before this happened.

Hello. I love my Firefox but the latest Version 148 has removed Ai from providing any information when I search for anything in the search bar. I have went to my settings and enabled Ai to work and everything below says available, but no matter what I try to look for, Ai just says its 'thinking'. Please help! Thank you.

Since Firefox updated to version 148.0 it has broken my ability to download any extension and I get that Installation aborted message for any extension I try to download.

It also broke my ad blocker, ublock origin, when it updated to 148.0

The main reason I use Firefox rather than Chrome or Edge is because Firefox allows 32 home page shortcuts. I configure my home page with all 4 available rows of 8, pinned in position so they are grouped based on function, along with putting the home page icon on the toolbar. On several occasions these have disappeared and the 'popular sites' do not load. I have had to use Control Panel -> uninstall program to 'fix' Firefox; this causes all my shortcuts to disappear, along with the toolbar 'home' icon and '4 row' display. I am running Windows 10 Pro, and will be migrating to Windows 11 Pro on a new computer. Will this issue be fixed with Firefox running on Win 11? Is there a way to easily save my home page settings so that if they disappear I can reload them? Thanks!

My Policies.Json can only block 1000 websites. Nothing after the 1000th entry is blocked. Is there a way to remove this limit?

About a month ago, firefox started requesting i use a "USB key" when logging into hotmail or ebay. i do not have a USB key and have not knowingly selected that as an option. how do i turn that off. i can work around it but its becoming more annoying and seems to be spreading to other secure websites.

Normally, I use the FireFox browser to access my gmail.com email account to view my messages. I am not sure what changed, but now when I enter gmail.com on my FireFox browser, I am not getting any response. I do not get the gmail display where I would view my messages. Additionally, I am not getting any error messages, all I get is a blank screen.

Is there any advice you can provide to help me resolve this issue ??

Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

my problem is that whenever I try to use form fill it will input everything and when it gets to the phone number it will add +1 to the entry so my phone number will be an incorrect or invalid number meaning that I will need to manually enter the information anyways which is kind of frustrating because what is the point

This appears to be a new "feature" that is absolutely insanely stupid.

There are websites that use a phone number as a user ID and now, instead of that number being remembered by Firefox as a user ID, Firefox now inserts a list of EVERY possible phone number you've ever typed, for you to chose from. The irony in my case being that the phone number in question that was being used as a user ID, is NOT in the list.....

Anyone know how to turn it off? Thanks - Brett

Hi, I open a lot of links on my andorid phone and want to read them on my laptop. I synched both devices so I am able to open my Android tabs from my laptop, but now I want to definitely close the pages I've read on both devices, but when I right-click on the tab in the 'tabs from other devices' list, the option "Close tab on Firefoxe #android#" is greyed, How can I use this very option I was looking for ?
