An 81 year old not as savvy as I was, very long time user of Firefox on mac and android phones. Just purchased new Samsung Galaxy A16 SM-A165F/DS. Two problems, 1. even setting Firefox as default browser in mac and phone it goes straight to Google and 2. Snapchat suddenly appeared on the phone every time I accessed Firefox and because I do not have an account without signing up I cannot get rid of Snapchat. Help please...

I have Microsoft Outlook email on my desktop. Often, a tab will just move and land in a new window which it creates. Now, an entire Group did the same thing. How do I transfer these back to the original window?

On various websites with embedded podcasts, when the file goes past 1h the volume 'slider' goes away and becomes a basic mute/unmute button. How can i force Firefox to always display the volume slider?

After my laptop BSOD, I had to re-install windows 11 while backing up all the previous settings and apps. I used "Free Download Manager(FDM)" as my default downloader of movies from websites that generated Magnet links. On clicking the magnet link the FDM is not opening by default, no action is seen. I've tried many options including the Support Centre of FDM from where I was advised to visit my browser support. I have used Firefox for 14 years, let me know where I'm wrong.

My tab groups just got lost. I didn't do anything to remove them. How can i restore them?

When this feature appeared, it was not available to me and I included it in about:config, but them disappeared when this feature reached me officially.

When on laptop, I want to synchronize account to desktop. I try to log on but need to get authorization code. The code takes an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, to my phone sms or email. I wanted to create two profiles to separate my work and personal contacts. For security reasons, I also wanted to set up one account as the secondary email address for the other (I only have these two email addresses). Account A is a Gmail account and Account B is an enterprise domain account. Account B had the Gmail account as the 'secondary email'. However, when I try to access the Account A profile, I receive a red square message saying 'Primary account email required for sign-in' after entering the password. Perhaps I did something wrong, but... How can I access my Account A profile? Account B no longer has a secondary email address to prevent further problems.

Hello Mozilla Community, Every time I want to log in to Samsung.com and eu.community.samsung.com/t5/deutsch/ct-p/de, I have to re-enter my email address. The password is suggested. I'm not asked if I want to save my login credentials, but I'm asked for it on all other websites. I prefer Firefox to EDGE (it's suggested in EDGE). It's like this on Windows 10 and on my other computer with Windows 11 (both 64-bit and both up to date). What do I have to do so that Firefox also suggests the email address on these sites (asking whether it should be saved)? And I use a translation program from German to English. Again, thank you in advance for your reply.

hey i cant seem to figure out why the tab for the ai chat bot on the left hand side of the screen can not access my microphone.. i like to use google gemini and my microphone registers fine if i go directly to geminis website in my fire fox browser. but when i use the integrated tab on firefox it will not register my mic

Some web sites such as Amazon have an options bars to select items like 'review order'. When the web page first comes up, they show white in the dark bar. But Firefox is immediately changing the white to purple so that it is almost impossible to read. I haven't been able to find anything in settings to correct this. I do not have this issue when I use Chrome.

I have downloaded Duolingo on my Windows 11 laptop. When I try to run it, it says that it can not open it because it can't find Microsoft Edge. This is the latest version of the app. I can't find anywhere to change the Duolingo default browser. I have Firefox set as MY default browser in windows settings. I also have AVG Secure Browser installed on my laptop but seldom use it. I donot have MS Edge installed on any of my computers. Can anyone help me find a solution to this problem? What other information do you need?

I have noticed an issue with the download process. Perhaps it can be easily fixed. ( Is this the right place to report? )

Downloading a duplicate of a .tar.xz archive results in a corruption of the name extension, as the suffix should be placed one dot before;

ie. "fileName(2).tar.xz" and not "fileName.tar(2).xz" ;

It actually seamed a couple of times to be a corrupted download.
