Could you please clarifying what you mean?
Are you talking about pressing the letter "J" on a touchscreen or physically keyboard? Is the question in relation to Thunderbird for Android (this forum) or the desktop version?
Emails marked as spam in the mobile app are simply moved to the spam/junk folder. The app does offer any spam filtering. Email providers normally filter spam and allow users to create server side filtering rules.

I mean when I press J on the computer keyboard I used to be able to automatically get rid of spam e-mails but now it doesn't work on Thunderbird. Thanks.
It sounds like your question relates to the PC desktop version of Thunderbird. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. This forum is focused on supporting the Android version for mobile phones and tablets.
If you post on the desktop forum, expert there will be happy to assist you.
