Firefox on my Macbook Air, ios, Tahoe 26.5.1 is unusable, passwords and permissions all off
Since before and after my recent updates on my Macbook Air, Firefox has become virtually unusable. Facebook has slowed to a standstill, X videos won't load and now after this latest update to ios Tahoe 26.5.1 some of my passwords to my sites no longer work either. My Safari browser works fine. Is this to do with permissions? I need a solution quickly or I will sadly have to stop using Firefox.

Does your system use any (enterprise) security software?
When you open the sites in a new Private Window, or restart into Troubleshoot Mode (via Help menu) do you see any difference?
Here are some standard troubleshooting steps that may resolve the issue:
- Start with clearing Firefox cache.
- If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
- Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield
icon in the left part of the address bar. If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
- If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
- If nothing from the above helps, try creating a new Firefox profile and check if the issue persists there. If it doesn't, you can start copying files from your old profile to the new one to identify which one causes the issue. See this article on what files to copy.
There are always options to start with a clean profile or "reset" Firefox to restore some more default settings if the above doesn't help for your current profile data.
