restore previous session does not appear in History
I set Firefox to automatically load previous open tabs but it does not do so and there is no "restore previous session" showing in the History.

Ahh my favorite issue. What do you have Firefox set to do when you close the browser. see screenshot Then see if this helps. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1557927#answer-1790790
