1. I have NEVER downloaded "adblock" 2. "Adblock" cannot be found in the PROGRAMS listed on my PC, so no way to "uninstall" your uninvited, unwelcome, unneeded bit of buy-this-buy-this-buy-this angling. 3. "Adblock" cannot be found on a search of the registry. 3. What a pathetic approach, Firefoxers!

GET RID OF IT FROM SHOWING UP ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN WHEN I OPEN FIREFOX! NOW!

I'm currently using version version 141.0.3. Every time I've upgraded the version, there's been other problems with video playback on certain websites. Regardless, I can't read a number of pages of interesting articles because of this browser versions' adblocker which I can't lower or allow social media posts if I want to. My harddrive is almost maxxed out as Windows 10 occupied the majority.

Well at least I think it did. Facebook has an issue with scrolling through the feed in my group. I don't know whether there's also a problem on the home feed and also one's timeline. The further one goes back, the more sluggish it becomes and it takes longer to display posts. I'm not sure whether this is a browser issue as I haven't tested on other browsers, or a problem with Facebook pulling stuff out of the drawers in its archives. Maybe it's a memory issue due to all posts needing to be loaded in memory so it's possible to go back up through the feed to the newest one. Anyway, it gets to the stage after going back through hundreds of posts over 6 months, FB stalls. So I tried clearing my history (I have this set to not clear cookies). I then closed FB and Firefox. When I started Firefox again, I had to agree to cookies and sign into all my social media accounts, Google accounts and also agree to cookies on sites I visit regularly. So obviously a glitch in the browser, causing many, if not all cookies to be deleted.

This is driving me crazy. I have the latest version Firefox 145 installed, however, this morning I discovered that while trying to log in to various banks for my credit cards, I've been getting "inability to login" messages, or a blank page comes up. Even when I try to change passwords (which I really didn't need to do), I keep getting denied.

I cleared all of my cache, but that does no good whatsoever. This the worst set of bugs with Firefox that I've ever experienced.

Yet, when I use Microsoft Edge to log into all of those sites, there are NO issues whatsoever.

What gives here - what went wrong?

I've been getting that pesky issue all of a sudden like a lot of people with the window focus flashing and it's disrupting when I'm performing typing, fill-ins or general operations in FireFox causing me to lose focus and have to re-click items to begin again. WHY is Firefox.exe file FORCED onto my desktop???

I do NOT want it there and if I move it, Firefox will not work.

It's bad enough to be inundated with spyware AI being forced upon us everywhere but for Mozilla to decide to FORCE FIREFOX ONTO MY DESKTOP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION is insulting and an invasion of my laptop.

I do NOT NEED MOZILLA to make decisions about my "ease of use."

I AM NOT HAPPY. I feel that I CANNOT TRUST FIREFOX AND MOZILLA like I used to be able to.

I believe I had all this synced in Firefox Settings before I made the upgrade. Like all you fellow former users of Windows 10, I had to upgrade to Windows 11; and did so two days ago. Now, I found that I do not have under History any of the former sites I not only visited but also had tabs open. What can I do, if anything, to recover them? Under the Add-ons Manager, if this helps, I already had the app Tab Session Manager, but don't know how to use it. Thanks to all in advance who may have made this same upgrade. Many out there are still on Windows 10.

In Firefox my previously working Bookmark folders are empty, everything I previously bookmarked is gone, and now firefox will not let me create any bookmarks to replace them .

I have a computer with Windows 10 and I connect it to a Samsung TV with an HDMI cable. The image plays correctly, the speakers seem to be Samsung's, but while the Windows sounds are heard correctly on the TV, the sounds from the web environment, e.g. Youtube, are only heard on the computer. What settings can I make in Firefox to solve the problem?

The problem seems to have started after a browser update. Running up-to-date Windows 10. This issue does not occur when using Edge. Youtube videos are blank (spinning). Sometimes it results is a still frame, other times it spins forever. Many times, you can see a series of stills in the video as the time line is dragged from the beginning to the end of the video. A small number of videos will work, but I have not been able to predict which will work or why. A different Win 10 machine on the same network is fine. I have tried all of the solutions I could find searching on-line (clearing cache, cookies, reboot, restart, update browser software, etc, multiple times). Checked settings in windows, firefox and youtube looking for something. Any help would be appreciated. Have used Firefox for decades and I don't want to be forced to change browsers.

Hi, I am using Firefox Developer Edition though I have had this problem with Firefox in the past. The problem is that sometimes the audio from Firefox just stops working, everything else in Windows works but not firefox, I tried having the same youtube video on Firefox and Chrome annd it worked on Chrome. There are times that a Windows restart fixes it and there are times that I just have to wait a couple of days till it fixes itself. The only thing I could find to trigger this behavior is to have mi Bluetooth earphones connected, then disconnect them and sometimes when reconnecting them the audio is just gone. This usually happens when I am working, when I start the day I put them on and start some music on Youtube, after 3-4 hours I do a 15 minutes break and during that time I charge the earphones, when I come back and turn them on again, most of the times the audio is gone. I am running Firefox 145.0 on a Windows 10 desktop PC. Even though I am using an external Password Manager (DualSafe Password Manager), Firefox keeps asking to save passwords. When I look at the privacy & Security section in Settings, Ask to save passowrds is ticked and also greyed out. To access the setting, I have to disable DualSafe. The setting becomes accessible and unticked. I then re-enable DualSafe. If I then close Firefox, the setting is re-ticked and greyed out when I start Firefox again. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this?

on clicking the firefox icon on my screen, it flagged this message: Firefox.exe – entry point not found The procedure entry point GetTempPath2W could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Users\computer_name\OneDrive\.javaws\Desktop\Firefox.exe.

I've always had this same problem for years across multiple machines. My problem is whenever I seem to close Firefox down without using Task Manager to do so I will lose all of my tabs from the previous section. I know what you're thinking. There's a checkbox in the general settings right at the top to opt in to keeping tabs open. It's ticked! and has been since forever, and yet I still lose my tabs. So my question is, why might this happen? and how to prevent it?

Additionally, the 'restore last session' keyboard shortcut doesn't work for me either.

I'm really enjoying the new profile switching update; however, my other question is, how do I close a profile session down while I have another open? Yes, I'm aware you can open them side by side and close the window of choosing. A bit counterintuitive if you are trying to separate work from play. Still, I would like to not lose my tabs when I do choose to close one and not have multiple windows running in the background. Also yes, I did remember to check the box in the settings on each profile. Ticking the box does nothing for me.
