On facebook I cannot access chat, messages or the search function; often I cannot write comments. I have allowed cookies, java & flash are up to date. Help?
Basically, it's as I wrote above. I can never access messages or chat. It's just started not letting me see my notifications at all, or letting me log out (it sends me to the account settings page instead). None of current suggestions have helped. I've updated everything, including firefox, but nothing has helped. Anyone got any ideas?

Do you have your cookie handling set to "ask me every time"? If so, please see:
- Certain websites do not work properly in normal browsing mode but work in private browsing perfectly. - solved with manually added cookie permission for facebook.com
- facebook post area when clicked gives https://www.facebook.com/ajax/metacomposer/attachment/status/status.php?targetid=695296250&xhpc=composerTourStart - solved with Reset

Hi, I used to have facebook cookies set at "allow for session", but in desperation they're all "allowed". It didn't help either. Thanks though.
