Mary, Do NOT uninstall and then install a prior version. This is a significant release and reverting to prior release is NOT recommended. You had made the decision to use the latest version, and that has benefits, but requires some patience as new features stabilize. If you do not wish to have new versions automatically installed, you can change that setting at Settings>General and scroll down to 'Updates' and change setting there. Thank you.

why s it when anew version comes out all the things that may go wrong ar addressed why do i need to wait until they are or my be fixed this is not just for Thunderbird it is for any and every new version of something and why screw when the older versions work

okay i will tell you when i go to Comcast mail i see 3 or 4 new emails listed when i click on Thunderbird i only see previously messages no the new messages, My Thunderbird is through or set up with Comcast I ha also noticed when i order a product from Amazon when the email would come up it would show he item like say i ordered toilet paper it would show the toilet paper now all i see is like a drawing ill show you in an image they are all coming up that way now

the mail is taking forever to load it take maybe 5 minutes and it is already in Comcast mail before i get it in Thunderbird I have Thunderbird through Comcast mail also now i have noticed something else new when i used to order from Amazon for delivery the actual photo would show up now i get just a drawing let say for instance when i order say Toilet paper it would show the toilet paper in the Amazon email now all i see is a drawing i will paste so you see okay see the two hey are the same items why am i not seeing the actually toilet paper photo

Mary, That photo you refer to from Amazon is a change they made, independent of Thunderbird. I also buy from Amazon and see the same new images as you. Thunderbird cannot change that. For the Comcast issue, Comcast website will always show first because he email reaches the Comcast web server before you download to Thunderbird.
